The Manager – Legal will provide legal support across corporate, commercial, intellectual property, litigation, and notarial matters while advising management on statutory compliance and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle company trademark registrations and intellectual property matters.
• Attend to local and international litigation matters.
• Draft, review, and execute commercial agreements and notarial instruments.
• Examine land titles and handle related notarial work.
• Provide legal advice to management on statutory and regulatory compliance.
• Handle legal matters relating to maritime, international trade, insurance, shipping, and cargo.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Attorney-at-Law with a Notaries License to practice in English in the District of Colombo.
• Minimum 4 years of credible overall experience as an Attorney-at-Law, including at least 2 years in the corporate sector.
• Experience in maritime, international trade, insurance, shipping, and cargo-related matters.
• LLB/LLM qualification will be an added advantage.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Computer literate with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.
