Job Description

HCT seeks an experienced Laboratory professional to serve as the interim Laboratory Manager at an acute care facility in Maryland.

Core laboratory departments fall under this role:

• Hematology, Chemistry. UA, Coagi;atopm, Manual Bench (kit testing), Processing, some blood bank (dispensing).
• This role includes management of phlebotomy staff and member collection areas.

Epic beaker is HIS. LIS is Cerner Millenium -High Throughput lab, at least 6 years' experience in complex lab and staff management.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Biology/Medical Technology or equivalent education/experience
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years experience in a complex laboratory required. Recent laboratory management required.
• Certification: ASCP CLS License required
• Computer Skills: EPIC and Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)

Expenses booked and paid for while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car.
