Position: Laboratory Manager

Location: Nasiriyah, Dhi Qar Governorate, Iraq

Contract Details: Full Time, Permanent

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Laboratory Manager for a reputed client in IRAQ, who is dedicated to providing high-quality medical services to the local community. The Allied Health Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing all allied health services within our organization. This includes managing a team of allied health professionals, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall operations of the laboratory, including equipment maintenance, supply inventory, and staff scheduling
• Oversee a team of lab technicians and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality work
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory processes
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory guidelines
• Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure accurate and reliable results
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate laboratory testing and analysis
• Prepare and maintain laboratory reports and documentation
• Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and productivity
• Train and mentor new lab technicians
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and implement best practices in laboratory management
• Manage budget and expenses for the laboratory department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in laboratory management role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory guidelines
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
