Job Description

KPMG Global Services Delivery Platform (KGSDP) is seeking an experienced Manager to be a Learning Business Partner for one of the largest business units. The role will act as a strategic advisor to business stakeholders, driving capability development through a performance consulting approach. The role will partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps, diagnose performance challenges, design learning interventions, and ensure measurable business impact through effective learning solutions.

The ideal candidate will combine strong Learning & Development expertise with business acumen and stakeholder management skills to bridge business needs and learning solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to conduct learning needs analysis and identify capability development priorities aligned to business objectives.
• Engage in consultative and performance-focused conversations to diagnose performance challenges and uncover underlying skill and capability gaps.
• Apply performance consulting frameworks and methodologies to recommend appropriate learning and development interventions.
• Collaborate with Learning & Talent Development (L&TD) teams, solution advisors, instructional designers, and subject matter experts to design and develop tailored learning solutions.
• Translate business requirements into structured learning strategies, development plans, and capability-building initiatives.
• Present recommended learning solutions to business leaders, secure stakeholder alignment, and drive adoption through influence and effective communication.
• Partner with L&TD teams to plan, deploy, and manage learning interventions across assigned business functions.
• Monitor implementation progress and ensure learning solutions are aligned to evolving business needs.
• Establish success metrics and evaluate the effectiveness of learning interventions through feedback, assessment results, capability improvement, and business performance indicators.
• Measure impact against identified skill gaps and performance outcomes, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the business and act as a trusted advisor on talent and capability development matters.
• Prepare dashboards, reports, and business updates on learning initiatives, outcomes, and ROI.

Educational qualifications

• MBA/PGDM in Human Resources, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or related field from a recognized institution.
• Certification in Performance Consulting, Coaching, Talent Development, or Learning & Development is preferred.

Experience requirements:

• 12 to 14 years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Development, Learning Business Partnering, or HR consulting roles.
• Demonstrated experience conducting learning needs analysis and capability assessments with business leaders.
• Strong understanding and application of performance consulting frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with L&D teams to design and deploy learning solutions that address business challenges.
• Proven ability to identify skill gaps and translate them into actionable development interventions.
• Experience measuring learning effectiveness and evaluating business impact of learning initiatives.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholder engagements simultaneously.
• Experience working in a large GCC, consulting organization, or professional services environment is preferred.
