You will be joining and guiding a highly skilled and dedicated team that serves as the heart of our IT operations. Together, weare responsible forthe well-being of Axis' global infrastructure, ensuring it is reliable, secure, and available for everyone. We are a team of six colleagues, poised for thoughtful growth both in Sweden and across the globe. We are on a meaningful journey to evolve our helpdesk into a modern, holistic operations center. This means expanding our care to encompass the full spectrum of Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA), where we partner to detect, understand, respond to, and restore services. You and your team are a vital part of the IT Infrastructure & Operations department, a community of about 70 specialists who use technology to enable innovation and build trust.
What you’ll do here asManager –ITInfrastructure Helpdesk?
As aManagerfor this team, your focus will be on guiding people through this exciting evolution. You will cultivate new ways of working, develop meaningful new responsibilities, and help our team grow together, both locally and globally. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for both people and technology.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Lead and Develop: Coach your employees, foster personal development, and build a strong, cohesive team based on Axis' values.
Drive Transformation: Lead the transition from a traditional helpdesk to a proactive and security-focused global operations center (SOC/NOC).
Build Strategies: Createa clear visionfor the future, set implementation plans, and make data-driven decisions to improve our daily operations.
Secure Operations: Be responsible formonitoring and protecting our globalinfrastructure and data, as well as managing incidents from start to finish.
Who are we looking for/Who are you?
We envision you as an empathetic and supportive leader, adept at guiding teams through significant growth and transformative periods. Your background ideally includes leading, or playing a key rolein,a team's journey towardsestablishinga structured environment like a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Operations Center (NOC). Youpossessa natural gift for discerning the broader organizational context, translating complexity into clear paths forward, and making thoughtful, collaborative decisions that propel both your team and the business.
Navigating a global organization is central to this role. You understand the unique nuances of building andmaintainingrobust support processes and operational frameworks that seamlessly integrate daily operations, security, and continuous monitoring across diverse regions. Your success will spring from your ability toharmoniserastrong technical acumen with exceptional communication and collaborative problem-solving, fostering efficient and secure global operations.
We Believe You Will Need the skills below:
Experience ofbuilding andoperatinga SOC and/or NOC.
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse partners and stakeholders
Be business-oriented and service-minded, with the ability to translate business needs into concrete goals.
Experience of leadership in a value-based environment.
