[What the role is]
Are you an IT project manager looking to grow your expertise in infrastructure delivery? We're looking for a motivated individual to take ownership of our infrastructure agenda — from the servers that keep our systems running to the devices in the hands of thousands of end-users across Singapore.
You'll be working across on-premises environments, Azure cloud, and end-user computing programmes — all while ensuring we stay ahead of security and governance requirements. You won't be doing this alone; you'll be supported by an experienced infrastructure team who will guide you along the way.
[What you will be working on]
Server Infrastructure & Cloud
You'll be involved in the full lifecycle of our on-premises server estate — from capacity planning and hardware refresh cycles through to decommissioning — ensuring our infrastructure remains resilient, current, and fit for purpose. Working alongside our IT Facility Management vendor, you'll keep projects on track and hold delivery partners accountable to agreed milestones.
On the security front, you'll coordinate vulnerability management across both on-premises and Azure cloud resources, using tools like VMS, TenableOne, and Cloudscape to track patching compliance and drive timely remediation in line with IM8 requirements.
End User Computing & Digital Workplace
This is where you'll see the direct impact of your work. You'll manage the end-to-end lifecycle of client computing initiatives — OS upgrades, hardware leasing, software licences, and digital workplace tools — coordinating rollouts across more than 40 sites. You'll work closely with central government project teams on compatibility testing and pilot deployments, and partner with our End-User Support Service vendor to ensure smooth delivery.
Critically, you'll also think about the human side of change. You'll assess how technology transitions affect end-users and craft communication and change management plans that bring people along, not just push updates out.
Compliance & Documentation
You'll be the person who ensures our solutions are built right — compliant with government IT governance frameworks including IM8, aligned to cybersecurity baselines, and properly documented. You'll keep SOPs and asset registers accurate and current, so the organisation always has a clear picture of its infrastructure landscape.
[What we are looking for]
Some experience in IT project management or service delivery is advantageous, but we welcome candidates who are eager to learn and grow in this space. Exposure to large-scale End User Computing Device deployments, particularly in a government context, would be a bonus.
Familiarity with on-premises server management — including Windows Server environments, virtualisation platforms, and infrastructure patching workflows will be an advantage.
Hands-on experience or working knowledge of on-premises server management, including Windows Server environments, virtualisation platforms, and infrastructure patching workflows will be an advantage.
Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and processes, including the ability to interpret scan reports and prioritise remediation efforts based on risk severity will be an advantage.
Familiarity with ITIL service management processes, including Incident, Problem, and Change Management will be an advantage.
Experience with government procurement frameworks such as GeBIZ, bulk tender processes, and ICT procurement governance will be an advantage.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
Successful candidate will be employed on a 11-month contract with staff benefits.
