Description

The Manager, IT Healthcare Enterprise Business Applications provides leadership and oversight for a portfolio of complex, non-clinical healthcare and enterprise business applications supporting critical organizational operations.This role is responsible for leading teams that provide implementation, integration, reliability, security, lifecycle management, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, including Hyland OnBase Document Management integrated with Epic, UKG Workforce Management, Veradigm Supply Chain and Accounts Payable, Workday Supply Chain and ERP, Harmony HealthData Archiver, and other non-clinical healthcare applications.The manager leads application teams and partners with business leaders, Digital/IT teams, Enterprise Architecture, Cybersecurity, Infrastructure, Integration, vendors, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable and scalable technology solutions in a highly reliable, mission-critical, academic healthcare system providing comprehensive care through hospitals, clinics, and outpatient services across Georgia and region. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and provide strategic direction for a portfolio of enterprise healthcare and business applications.
• Lead application implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations, modernization, and lifecycle activities.
• Ensure application availability, performance, security, supportability, and business continuity.
• Oversee complex integrations with Epic and other enterprise platforms using APIs, interfaces, databases, and other integration technologies.
• Manage application incidents, problems, changes, upgrades, and production support.
• Develop application roadmaps, technology strategies, lifecycle plans, and modernization initiatives.
• Partner with business and technical stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.
• Manage application vendors, contracts, licensing, service levels, and technical escalations.
• Develop budgets, resource plans, project estimates, and business cases for application initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop application support and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with organizational security, privacy, regulatory, change management, and technology standards.
• Identify opportunities to reduce technical debt, improve reliability, optimize costs, and modernize the application portfolio.

• UKG Timekeeping, Scheduling, Advanced Scheduling, Attendance, and Data Hub
• Veradigm Supply Chain and Accounts Payable
• Workday Supply Chain and ERP
• Harmony HealthData Archiver
• Other non-clinical healthcare applications supporting Finance, Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, Workforce Management, Facilities, Shared Services Operations, Public Safety, Marketing, Interpretive Services, Administrative Services, and other enterprise functions.
• Healthcare and enterprise application integrations
• APIs, databases, interfaces, middleware, and data exchange
• Cloud, on-premises, and hybrid application environments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Healthcare IT experience within a large or complex healthcare organization.
• Experience with enterprise healthcare document management, workforce management, ERP, supply chain, financial, or healthcare data archiving applications.
• Experience with Epic integrations and healthcare interoperability.
• Experience with cloud migration, hybrid environments, application modernization, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience with IT service management, disaster recovery, business continuity, cybersecurity, and application lifecycle management.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited college or university, or equivalent work experience.
• Seven years of experience which includes designing and implementing highly complex systems on multiple platforms.
• A knowledge of and experience with a highly reliable, mission-critical, geographically dispersed production environment.
