Manager, IT - EWC Demand & Release at a glance ...

You will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the team, the demand process and the planning, coordination, and execution of platform releases. This requires coordination with various teams, managing dependencies, and resolving any conflicts that may arise during the release process.

Key Ingredients:

  • Raise needed Capital Expenditures Request to support Demand initiatives.

  • Manage the team budget and financials to support portfolio reviews with leadership.

  • Ensure all contracts are signed, POs raised and contribute to negotiation of contracts.

  • Lead value realization of Demands to help Demand Board prioritize intake and backlog.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, QA, operations, and product management, to define release requirements and schedules.

  • Lead Platform Demand Board, managing demand intake, engaging stakeholders, consolidating platform demand, and planning into future releases.

  • Work with the platform lead to develop and maintain release plans, including timelines, milestones, and dependencies.

  • Manage the release process, ensuring that all necessary steps are followed and that releases are delivered on time and within budget.

  • Communicate release status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management, development teams, and customers.

  • I have a bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, software engineering, or a related field (preferred).

  • I have 3+ years of experience in software release management, project management, or in related roles.

  • I have good project management skills, including the ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex release cycles.

  • I have experience with Agile or DevOps methodologies (preferred).

  • I have excellent written and verbal communication and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients. I can clearly communicate release plans, timelines, and potential risks.

  • I am attentive to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of release documentation, version control, and configuration management.
