Job Description

Assumes responsibility for the day-to-day troubleshooting and support of all personnel computers, local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN) and telephone related problems and the maintenance of same. Supports the CAF-Area office on office management and admin matters.

IT Responsibilities

  • Monitors and guides Area CAF IT Coordinators workflow

  • Trainer & Buddy for new ITC joiners in Area CAF

  • Basic support for LAN, Wi-Fi, cabling, and network rooms.

  • Coordinate connectivity incidents with regional IT, SITA, and local ISPs.

  • Support new office setups and infrastructure readiness.

  • Supplier Negotiator & Purchaser

  • Maintain & Monitor IT budget forecast by working with Regional IT and Finance on budget alignment.

  • Maintain inventory of laptops, monitors, printers, and peripherals.

  • Perform asset tagging, warranty handling, lifecycle tracking, and procurement support

  • Liaison between userdirector requests and regional business department

  • Ensuring ITASM is handled through JIRA ticketing

  • Setup to assist agent offices

  • Setup to assist Hapag-Lloyd new office creation

  • Support 3rd party and Agents in the Area

  • SLA adherence, compliance rates, asset accuracy, zero audit findings.

  • Quality Environmental reporting

  • First line Desktop Support through JIRA tickets

  • Monitor hardware health and upgrades

  • Officeequipment enhancement to support smarter working

Admin Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory and be responsible for office supply acquisitions

  • Address employees’ queries regarding office management issues

  • Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering and security services

  • Plan in-house or off-site activities, like parties and celebrations

  • Maintain a safe and secure working environment

  • Handle adhoc responsibilities assigned

Education: University Degree

Experience: Minimum 5-7 years

Minimum Experience: Combination of Information Technology (IT) and Administration functions.

Core Competencies:

  • Knowledge in Networks (LAN, WAN) and communication systems
  • Highly analytic and independent way of working

  • Ability to present complex correlations in a clear way

  • Knowledge of user application systems and Proficient in Microsoft programs

  • Team player / Flexible / Cooperative

  • Solid Communication skills

  • Ability to resolve administration or local authorities conflicts swiftly and in a compliant way

  • Bilingual English/French
