Job Description

Job Title: Manager - IT Advisory

Location: Kingdom of Bahrain

Employment: Full Time, On-Site

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead digital transformation engagements for clients across strategy, operating model, process digitization, and technology enablement
  • Assess client's current digital maturity and identify gaps, inefficiencies, and transformation opportunities
  • Develop target-state digital operating models and transformation roadmaps aligned with client business objectives
  • Design business cases for digital initiatives, including ROI, cost-benefit analysis, and value realization frameworks
  • Advise clients on selection and implementation of digital technologies (cloud, ERP, CRM, data platforms, AI, automation)
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of consulting projects, ensuring scope, timelines, and quality standards are met
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional consulting teams and client-side stakeholders
  • Support implementation programs and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical delivery teams
  • Drive process re-engineering and optimization initiatives across core business functions
  • Define KPIs, success metrics, and value tracking frameworks for transformation programs
  • Provide insights on industry trends, benchmarking, and best practices in digital transformation
  • Develop executive-level presentations, reports, and recommendations for senior client leadership
  • Manage stakeholder relationships at client C-suite and senior management level
  • Identify risks, issues, and dependencies in transformation programs and propose mitigation strategies
  • Support change management strategies, including communication, training, and adoption planning
  • Advise on governance structures for large-scale transformation programs
  • Support pre-sales activities including proposal development, solution design, and effort estimation
  • Contribute to thought leadership, practice development, and internal knowledge sharing within Grant Thornton.



QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related field.
  • Prince 2/PMP certification preferred.
  • 5–10+ years of experience in digital transformation, IT consulting, or program management
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies (cloud, AI, automation, data platforms, ERP/CRM systems)
  • Proven experience managing large-scale transformation projects
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills
