Job Description

Manager Investor Relations Finance - Chicago, IL
Reports To: Senior Director, Global FP&A
Dotted Line To: Vice President, Corporate Treasury and Investor Relations

The Manager, Investor Relations Finance supports the delivery of accurate, consistent, and timely financial data and analysis for ADM’s investor communications. This role partners closely with Investor Relations, Corporate FP&A, Corporate Treasury, and Business Unit FP&A teams to ensure high-quality financial content across earnings materials, investor presentations, and external engagements.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Global FP&A, the Manager plays a key execution-focused role in managing financial data, analytics, and coordination behind investor-facing materials. The position supports the analyst consensus process, contributes to variance analysis and market insights, and helps maintain strong data governance and process discipline across the investor relations workflow.
This is a highly visible individual contributor role requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
Investor Relations Financial Support

  • Support the preparation, validation, and maintenance of financial data used in investor communications (excluding official US GAAP filings).
  • Partner with the Investor Relations team on the development of quarterly earnings materials, including press releases, investor decks, call scripts, and Q&A support.
  • Ensure alignment and consistency between FP&A outputs, investor materials, and external messaging.
  • Coordinate with Business Unit FP&A teams to gather, validate, and synthesize key business insights and commentary supporting investor materials.

Consensus and Market Analysis Support

  • Lead the collection, consolidation, and analysis of external analyst consensus estimates.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies or errors in analyst models; coordinate corrections with analysts and the IR team.
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on consensus trends, market expectations, and variance drivers to senior finance leadership

Data Integrity and Process Discipline

  • Establish and maintain standardized templates and data collection processes for Business Units, ensuring clarity, efficiency, and quality control.
  • Act as the “single source of truth” for financial data used in investor communications—minimizing last-minute data scrambles and version inconsistencies.
  • Partner with the Director, FP&A Transformation to enhance automation, data visualization, and reporting tools supporting investor communications.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data governance, documentation, and reporting standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with Corporate FP&A, Business Unit FP&A, Investor Relations, Corporate Treasury, and Accounting to ensure data accuracy and aligned financial narratives.
  • Support preparation for external investor events, including conferences, site visits, and Investor Days, by providing analysis, data, and presentation materials.
  • Build strong working relationships across Finance and Investor Relations to support effective information flow and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree a plus.
  • 6–8 years of progressive experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related analytical roles within a complex organization.
  • Exposure to investor relations, external financial reporting, or executive-level financial communications preferred.
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and performance analysis skills.
  • Solid understanding of key performance metrics and financial concepts used by public companies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Hyperion, Excel, and Power BI; experience with additional FP&A or analytics tools a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and process discipline.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly to senior stakeholders.

Travel

  • Occasional travel may be required to support investor events and cross-functional coordination.

Before applying for an exempt, non-exempt or hourly job opportunity, you are expected to initiate a discussion and share your intentions with your supervisor. * If you’ve been in your current position for more than 18 months, supervisor approval is not required. * If you’ve been in your current position for less than 18 months, verbal supervisor approval is required.
