Job Title: Manager, Investor Relations & Administration

Job Summary

The Manager, Investor Relations and Administration supports the Chief Administration Officer by coordinating priorities, reporting, initiatives and stakeholder communications across the CAO portfolio, while continuing to support the company’s investor relations strategy and engagement activities. The role acts as a central coordination point across functions such as Investor Relations, Government Relations, Insurance and Risk, Information Technology, Corporate Financial Systems, Human Capital Management Systems, Capital Procurement and other CAO-led initiatives.

Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, this role helps ensure that key deliverables are well organized, decisions and follow-ups are clearly tracked, reporting is accurate and timely, and investor communications are consistent with the company’s strategy, financial performance and growth plans. The successful candidate will combine strong financial and business acumen with excellent communication, project management, relationship-building and organizational skills.

Responsibility

Investor Relations

  • Partner with senior leadership to support the development and execution of the company’s investor relations strategy and annual engagement plan.
  • Prepare and update investor presentations, quarterly earnings materials, road show communications, background information and other materials that communicate the company’s strategy, financial history, performance and investment case.
  • Coordinate the distribution of investor reports and communications to ensure content is accurate, on message, appropriately approved and delivered to the intended audience.
  • Respond to and appropriately direct phone and email inquiries from current and prospective investors, analysts and other investment community stakeholders.
  • Plan and coordinate investor events, including plant tours, analyst meetings, investor days, conferences, road shows and one-on-one meetings.
  • Prepare executives for investor meetings, conferences and presentations by coordinating agendas, briefing materials, talking points and supporting information.
  • Maintain and analyze information about the existing and prospective investor base to help identify target investors, markets and engagement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships across the investment community and communicate investor and analyst feedback, themes and questions to senior leadership.
  • Support capital-raising activities and related due diligence, presentation and information requirements, as assigned.
  • Support regulatory research, compliance processes, disclosure controls and internal controls related to investor communications and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain investor relations policies, procedures, calendars, contact records and reference materials.
  • Periodically review the investor experience and recommend opportunities to strengthen communications, responsiveness and stakeholder engagement.

Office of the CAO Coordination

  • Act as a central coordination point for priorities, projects, reporting requirements and follow-ups across the CAO organization.
  • Coordinate information flow across Investor Relations, Government Relations, Insurance and Risk, Information Technology, Corporate Financial Systems, Human Capital Management Systems, Capital Procurement and other CAO-led areas.
  • Prepare, consolidate, quality review and distribute reports, briefing materials, dashboards, presentations and supporting documentation for the CAO, senior leadership and other stakeholders.
  • Track key deadlines, deliverables, dependencies, decisions, risks and action items across assigned initiatives; escalate risks or delays when appropriate.
  • Provide program coordination support for selected global systems and CAO-led initiatives, including documentation, issue tracking, testing coordination, training logistics, stakeholder communication and follow-up with business and technology partners.
  • Maintain clear process documentation, operating procedures, reference materials, distribution lists, schedules, decision logs and records for assigned corporate programs.
  • Support governance routines and operating cadence across the CAO organization, including meeting preparation, agenda coordination, follow-up tracking and status reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, strengthen controls, improve data quality and enhance reporting efficiency.

Leadership and Collaboration

  • Build trusted working relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Lead, support or coordinate cross-functional projects within the scope of the CAO organization, including initiatives that span multiple departments or require senior leadership alignment.
  • Establish clear work plans, roles, timelines and communication practices for assigned initiatives.
  • Provide guidance, knowledge-sharing and process support to colleagues and stakeholders, as required.
  • Represent the company professionally at investor meetings, conferences, industry events and other external engagements.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive business information with sound judgment and discretion.

Academic/Educational Requirements

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Communications or a related discipline; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered.

Required Skills/Experience

  • Progressive experience in investor relations, corporate finance, financial reporting, corporate communications or a related field.
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, financial analysis, valuation concepts, capital markets and the information needs of analysts and investors.
  • Experience preparing executive-level presentations, briefing materials and written communications for internal and external audiences.
  • Experience supporting corporate governance, government relations, risk management, technology, financial systems, compliance or cross-functional executive reporting is an asset.
  • Experience in a public company, complex corporate environment or manufacturing organization is an asset.
  • Exceptional written, verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and business information into clear, audience-appropriate messages.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Excellent project management, planning and organizational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, coordinate across departments and follow through on time-sensitive deliverables.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and the confidence to work effectively with executives, investors, analysts, government stakeholders, internal department leaders and cross-functional teams.
  • High degree of adaptability, discretion, sound judgment, initiative and accountability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint; experience with financial reporting or workflow systems is an asset.
  • Ability to travel for business, including investor meetings, conferences and company events, as required.

Wage Band: $121,000 to $160,000
