Job Description

Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations, this position will be based out of Celanese’s corporate headquarters in Dallas, TX and responsible for helping grow the business through development, execution, and communication of the Celanese value thesis for external and internal stakeholders, including current and potential shareholders and external industry analysts. They will develop analytics and actionable insights as part of the Investor Relations team to drive the right decisions and optimally position Celanese with the investor community.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and executes actionable analytics around Celanese stock performance, ownership trends, peer comparisons, and investor perceptions, and present to executive leadership
  • Support the Investor Relations team in the development of materials for the quarterly earnings cycle
  • Review and analyze sell-side research notes and models
  • Support investor meetings, roadshows, and conference, including participating in responses to inbound requests from investors and sell-side analysts
  • Supports IR communications and outreach strategy
  • Supports the development of business results summary for the quarter and communication approach
  • Responsible for monitoring sell-side consensus estimates and expectations and provides regular updates as appropriate
  • Supports the production of annual reports, SEC filings, and proxy statements
  • Analyze and provide insights around the company’s shareholder mix and associated dynamics
  • Assist in preparation of regular updates regarding shareholder matters for the executive team and Board of Directors
  • Assist with development of shareholder targeting analytics and implement plan for engaging shareholders
  • Conducts competitive analysis, including the development of industry and peer company performance benchmarks

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, or equivalent experience. MBA preferred, CPA / CFA a plus
  • Proven background in manufacturing companies, driving change and supporting teams within a fast-paced environment
  • Strong business and financial acumen with ability to create data analytics of current and future states
  • Effective and persuasive in leading change, applying business acumen, company values, while demonstrating the emotional intelligence that inspires others
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capability to summarize and articulate succinct and crisp narrative culminated from multiple data sources and stake holder inputs
  • Listening skills to effectively understand voice of customer and incorporate feedback into future messaging
  • Comfort working in an ambiguous environment with the capability to influence without authority
