The main purpose of the role is to analyze and assess the assigned high-risk customer profiles for existing customers periodically and upon trigger events including Politically Exposed person (PEP) identification and assessment against the Bank’s internal policies and procedures and determine whether they are in line with the Bank’s risk appetite and in line with the regulations.

Job Purpose:

• The Investment Solutions Manager is responsible for identifying and presenting a range of investment options tailored to the unique needs and goals of high-net-worth individuals within the Elite and Private banking segment. This role involves market research, analysis of investment products, and the creation of comprehensive investment portfolios.
• This role ensures that clients are well-informed about their investment choices and associated risks, while adhering to the policy of not providing direct financial advice or recommendations. Investment specialists maintain and grow investment relationships with customers alongside distribution channels.
• Conduct regular one-to-one discussions with relationship managers to provide knowledge input and improve business opportunities from the existing client base.

Key Accountabilities:

• Act as an investment specialist with business development and investment relationship management responsibility, focusing on Consumer client segments.
• Maintain a clear conceptual understanding of investment business, global capital markets, and latest macro-economic trends and developments in financial markets.
• Achieve fee income, sales, and AUM targets alongside the Consumer segment coverage team
• Manage investment relationships with clients on an ongoing basis and provide regular market and portfolio updates to increase client engagement.
• Ensure full investment governance for all investment transactions.
• Product Specialist Responsibilities
• Conduct regular one-to-one investment discussions with RMs in the Consumer segment to improve business opportunities from the existing client base.
• Oversee the investment process, including strategy formulation, risk management, and performance evaluation to maintain transparency, accountability, and regulatory compliance.
• Work with and assist the product team with the launch and promotion of new investment products.

Requirements

Experience & Academic Qualifications:

• Graduate, preferably in a commercially oriented discipline, or diploma in business / finance-related subjects.
• Good conceptual understanding of capital markets and the investment business.
• 7–10 years’ experience in wealth management, investment sales, private banking, or client advisory with strong grounding in consumer banking.
• Excellent understanding of global macro-economic trends, financial markets, and investment products.
