Your New Role

In this 6-month contract you will drive structured governance and framework outcomes across investment and liquidity risk, ensuring policies, standards and reporting are robust, contemporary and aligned to regulatory expectations.

Working closely with stakeholders across Group Risk and Investments, you will play a key role in strengthening risk governance and supporting effective oversight at management, Executive and Board levels.

Key duties include but are not limited to;

  • Reviewing and updating policies, standards and frameworks to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and current business practices.

  • Supporting the review and update of relevant Level 1 risk policies to ensure they are Three Lines of Accountabilitycompliant by design and aligned to the Boardapproved framework.

  • Supporting independent monitoring and reporting on risk versus appetite to Executive and Board Committees.

  • Developing and enhancing reporting templates and processes for domainlevel and risktypelevel reporting.

  • Defining targetstate reporting cadence, audiences and artefacts, and assisting with standing up the operational infrastructure to deliver these.

  • Identifying investmentrelated standards requiring updates to reflect Line 2’s revised role and coordinating updates through a structured work plan.

What You’ll Need

  • Sound experience in superannuation or financial services risk, preferably within a regulated environment.

  • Strong understanding of governance, risk and compliance management practices.

  • Demonstrated experience with the Three Lines of Accountability framework, including supporting its embedding and ongoing enhancement.

  • Proven ability to write with impact, particularly in drafting reports and updating risk policies, standards and frameworks.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence across multiple levels of seniority.

  • High attention to detail, supported by strong analytical and investigative capability.

  • Understanding of control design and operating effectiveness, with an interest in investment risk policies, standards and APRA regulatory requirements.
