Who are we looking for?
This role will be reporting to Lead, Investment Product Governance/Control.
Responsibilities
Product Governance & Approval Framework
- Coordinate product program approvals and ensure RCSA-derived controls are embedded across all product lines
- Facilitate new product approval process for all investment products
- Validate compliance against approved product programs and internal policies
- Partner with product teams to establish comprehensive operating procedures
- Monitor team adherence and drive continuous improvement
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Advisory
- Conduct regulatory gap analyses against applicable regulations and internal standards
- Develop remediation plans for identified compliance deficiencies
- Review customer journeys periodically to ensure full regulatory compliance and fair customer treatment
- Monitor local and overseas regulatory developments via horizon scanning
- Assess impact on existing products and operational controls
- Advise Product Owners on regulatory compliance for new investment products and services
Operational Risk & Control Effectiveness
- Assess operational process resilience, including order processing flows
- Identify vulnerabilities and implement proactive mitigation measures
- Oversee post-trade monitoring control framework
- Analyze framework performance and related data
- Prepare executive summaries for senior management oversight
- Partner with product teams to manage incidents
- Ensure accurate and timely regulatory reporting
Committee Governance & Secretariat
- Provide secretarial support for Wealth Forum and Investment Steering Committee
- Manage logistics, documentation, and follow-up
- Draft agendas, papers, minutes, and track action items to resolution
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
- Hands on experience in investment product due diligence work
- Experience in establishing investment product related control framework
- Adept at managing and working with various key stakeholders
- Strong understanding of investment products and the regulatory requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or other related disciplines
- Holder of SFC Type 1 license for dealing in securities
- Proficiency in PC applications such as Microsoft Office
- Good written and oral communication in English
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills, with positive mindset
