We provide a platform for our people to do their best work and make an impact to the business, and in exchange, we support our people's career ambitions. We pledge to make Eastspring a place where you can Connect, Grow and Succeed.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Originate and develop new business opportunities across corporate treasuries, cash-rich corporates, family-owned businesses, and other institutional client segments.
  • Build and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects, with a focus on expanding Eastspring’s corporate footprint and supporting the team’s long-term Corporate Unit Trust AUM growth ambitions.
  • Review, prioritise, and reactivate dormant corporate relationships with investment potential, while identifying opportunities to deepen wallet share among existing clients.
  • Own client engagement from initial prospecting and qualification through to pitch preparation, follow-up, onboarding, and post-investment servicing.
  • Prepare and deliver high-quality client presentations, proposals, product positioning materials, RFP responses, and due diligence documentation in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Understand client liquidity, return, risk, governance, and investment horizon requirements, and position appropriate money market, fixed income, income-oriented, and other Eastspring investment solutions.
  • Work closely with the Investment, Product, Marketing, Compliance, Operations, and Client Reporting teams to deliver timely and effective solutions for clients.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, regulatory developments, and client needs to identify future growth opportunities and provide actionable input to management.
  • Support client retention and service excellence through regular engagement, portfolio updates, market insights, and prompt resolution of queries or operational matters.
  • Contribute to management reporting, pipeline tracking, KPI updates, risk reporting, operational process improvements, and department documentation as required.

EXPERIENCE / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline; professional qualifications such as CFA, CFP, or other relevant certifications would be an advantage.
  • Relevant experience in institutional sales, corporate banking, treasury sales, asset management, wealth management, investment solutions, or client relationship management.
  • Experience covering corporate clients, institutional investors, or treasury/investment decision-makers would be highly preferred.
  • Good knowledge of unit trusts, money market funds, fixed income funds, income strategies, or broader asset management solutions.
  • Strong presentation, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proven ability to generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, follow through on opportunities, and convert relationships into business outcomes.
  • High standards of integrity, professionalism, client service, and compliance awareness.

KEY ATTRIBUTES

  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable operating independently in a business development role.
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability to engage corporate decision-makers, treasury teams, and senior stakeholders in a consultative manner.
  • Brings an existing network across relevant corporate segments and the ability to open new doors for the business.
  • Commercially oriented, with a strong sense of ownership over pipeline development, asset growth, client conversion, and relationship reactivation.
  • Good understanding of investment products, market trends, portfolio considerations, and asset management solutions, particularly in liquidity and fixed income strategies.
  • Able to translate client needs into appropriate investment solutions and communicate investment ideas clearly and confidently.
  • Collaborative and able to work effectively across internal teams to ensure seamless client delivery and governance.
  • Highly organised, disciplined in follow-through, and able to manage multiple client conversations, internal deliverables, and sales activities concurrently.
