Job Location ARCH - Williamsport, PA 17701 Position Type First/Mid Level Officials and Manager Education Level High School or GED Travel Percentage Negligible Job Shift Full Time

Reporting directly to the Vice President, this position is responsible to manage the day-to-day operations of the Inside Sales team for the successful operation and support of sales and promotional activities, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth through effective communication and customer engagement. The Manage Inside Sales will work closely with other departments to meet sales targets and achieve company objectives.

  • Lead and manage a team of inside sales representatives to achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and ensure a positive customer experience not limited to phone, emails and mailings.
  • Develop sales strategies and tactics to increase sales and improve customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as marketing, product, bids and customer service, to coordinate sales efforts and support broader business objectives.
  • Analyze sales performance data, develop actionable insights, and implement initiatives that drive continued sales growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and promote a culture of customer-centricity across the sales team.
  • Coach and develop team members, delivering ongoing training and development programs to improve sales skills and overall performance.
  • Conduct outbound calling and warm calling to engage potential customers and generate leads.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry and market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  • Directly and indirectly manage employees and carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. These responsibilities include but are not limited to , interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, delegating, assigning and directing work; administering company time and attendance policies, monitoring, coaching and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Attend trade shows as required providing support and training as needed.
  • Participate in cross-functional problem-solving teams as required.



Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or GED equivalent. Four-year business degree preferred.
  • One to three years of sales experience required.
  • At least one year of management experience preferred.
  • One to three years library business experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Access).
  • Proven track record of managing an inside sales team and delivering sales growth results.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to develop insights and improve performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to make decisions and solve customer needs, promote and sell products to include staying up to date on new product offerings.
  • Ability to make outbound calls and engage in warm calling activities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Normal office environment, close and distant vision, using hands and fingers to handle and feel, talk and hear, sitting, lifting up to 10 lbs. frequently. Standing and walking, lifting up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
