We undertake investment promotion and industry development, and work with international businesses, both foreign and local, by providing information, connection to partners and access to government incentives for their investments. The Innovation Strategy & Partnerships Division in EDB charts the agency’s vision towards an innovation-led economy by developing strategies to enhance the innovation ecosystem for foreign companies to create new products, services and businesses in Singapore.

Job Responsibilities
[Strategy Development]
Develop and co-create solutions to strengthen Singapore as an innovation economy:
Identify, through research and stakeholder engagement, potential gapsin Singapore’sinnovation ecosystem(e.g. partnerships, intellectual property, etc.)
Analyseand synthesise findings to recommend solutions
Develop value propositionsin collaboration with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. industry groups in EDB, other government agencies and industry partners)

Review, refine and developSingapore’s overall strategy in innovation:
Analyseproject data to define EDB’s contributions to innovation andcharacteriseindustry/ company needs
Measureoutcomes of our R&D and innovation policiesandmapSingapore’s strengths in innovation
Note that this is an individual contributor role.You mayalsoneed to perform secretariat duties and support agenda setting for inter-agency platforms
[What we are looking for]
Requirements
At least3years of relevantworking experienceindesign thinking, strategy/ product development,innovation, IP/ technology commercialisation,corporate planningand/ or policy analysis
Skillset in quantitative data analysis (e.g.Excel, Tableau, Python etc.) will be a plus.
Passionate about playing a roleto develop levers to strengthen Singapore’s innovation economy
Keen sense of business acumenwith strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Resourceful with a self-starter mindsetandstrong ability to develop and execute ideas and initiatives
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and adept at engaging a range of internal and external stakeholders across seniority levels
Strong teamplayer in an agile environmentwho isversatile andopen to learn,exploreandexperiment

The Centre for Strategic Infocomm Technologies (CSIT) is a technical agency in the Ministry of Defence that harnesses advanced digital technologies to meet Singapore’s security needs.
We develop capabilities to support missions such as cyber defence, counter terrorism, and counter hostile information operations. Our technical focus includes cybersecurity, data analytics, software engineering, and cloud infrastructure and services.
CSIT was established in 2003 and is a member of the Defence Technology Community.
