Lead enterprise infrastructure resilience across compute, storage, backup, virtualization, cloud and hybrid environments. The role is responsible for assessing recovery readiness, validating disaster recovery capabilities, strengthening cyber recovery preparedness, and driving technology resilience improvements through structured assessments, testing, remediation planning and stakeholder engagement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead infrastructure resilience assessments across compute, virtualization, storage, backup, cloud, identity and network dependencies.

• Design, review and validate recovery strategies for on-premises, cloud and hybrid workloads, including recovery sequencing, dependency mapping and recovery tiering.

• Plan and execute DR tests, cyber recovery simulations, failover/failback exercises and evidence-based recovery validation activities.

• Assess backup and storage architecture for immutability, replication, retention, air gap or vaulting, RPO alignment and restoration readiness.

• Develop cyber recovery playbooks for ransomware and destructive cyber scenarios, including clean-room recovery, trusted restore points and identity recovery considerations.

• Identify SPOFs, operational resilience gaps and technology recovery risks, and convert findings into remediation roadmaps and executive reporting.

• Collaborate with cyber security, infrastructure, cloud, operations, application, audit and business teams to align recovery capabilities with business priorities.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

• Enterprise compute knowledge covering physical servers, Windows/Linux platforms, virtualization, HCI and data center or public cloud platforms.

• Backup and storage expertise across backup platforms, storage arrays, replication, snapshots, immutable backup, vaulting, retention and restore processes.

Familiarity with enterprise networking concepts, including LAN, WAN, load balancing, and failover architecture, to assess technology resilience and business continuity readiness.

• Practical DR knowledge across failover/failback, workload recovery, recovery sequencing, dependency mapping, validation and improvement planning.

• Cyber recovery understanding covering ransomware impacts, SOC/IR coordination, clean recovery, identity recovery, Zero Trust principles and trusted restore.

• Strong consulting capability, documentation discipline, stakeholder management, delivery quality and leadership-ready communication.

• Candidate should have good understanding of On-Prem, Cloud and Hybrid infrastructure and should understand the various Datacenter Type and Hosting strategies.

GOOD TO HAVE SKILLS

Exposure to AI, GenAI, Agentic AI, AIOps, observability, and telemetry-driven solutions to support runbook generation, dependency analysis, incident triage, recovery workflow automation, recovery prioritization, operational decision-making, and resilience reporting.

• Python scripting exposure for automation, data handling, evidence consolidation, reporting support and productivity improvement.

• Database management fundamentals, including backup/restore concepts, replication, integrity validation, recovery dependencies and platform resilience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related discipline.

• Desirable certifications include one or more of the following: Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, VMware VCP, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.

• Experience in Tech transformation, regulated environments or large-scale infrastructure resilience programs.

• Ability to independently lead workstreams, manage senior stakeholders and mentor delivery teams.

• Comfortable working across infrastructure, cloud, cyber security, risk, audit, operations and business teams.

• Outcome-focused mindset with emphasis on actionable recommendations, recovery assurance and measurable resilience improvements.
