This role is a working manager that leads a team of six full time infrastructure professionals and contract offshore managed service teammates responsible for platform availability, security, modernization, and lifecycle management. The manager will work alongside deeply specialized engineers to establish technical standards, guide architectural decisions, develop individual contributor competency plans, and deliver operational and project-based initiatives.The successful candidate must have deep knowledge and experience in one or more of the critical technologies to be able to contribute to deliverables. The candidate will also need a breadth of knowledge of a larger selection to be able to elicit key information from specialists to influence overall architecture and design of solutions. The candidate must also combine strong technical leadership with the manager-level behaviors expected at Bath & Body Works: driving meaningful work to completion, acting with urgency, building partnerships, making sound and timely decisions, and learning quickly through experimentation and reflection.

Responsibilities Infrastructure Leadership & Operations

• Lead infrastructure engineering and offshore managed service teams responsible for hybrid hosting, database platforms, and supporting technologies.
• Ensure infrastructure services meet enterprise requirements for availability, security, scalability, performance, and recoverability.
• Direct lifecycle management, capacity planning, disaster recovery, resiliency validation, maintenance planning, and operational readiness.

People Leadership & Talent Development

• Develop team members through coaching, competency planning, performance management, succession planning, and cross-training.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, operational discipline, and innovation aligned with company leadership competencies.
• Evaluate both technical and soft-skill competencies, ensuring team members continue to advance skills in upcoming and current technologies as well as our core competencies (driving results, action orientation, nimble learning, collaboration, and sound decision making).

Capacity Planning & Resource Management

• Manage workload and resource allocation across operational support, project delivery, and continuous improvement activities.
• Identify resource constraints, risks, and dependencies and implement mitigation strategies through prioritization, cross-training, process improvement, partner accountability, or staffing adjustments.
• Prioritize work in support of company strategic initiatives.

Project Delivery & Business Partnership

• Collaborate with business application teams, project managers, architects, and technical leads to plan and deliver infrastructure requirements for enterprise projects.
• Participate in project discovery, estimation, and planning activities and be able to identify needs in adjacent technical domains such as networking or security to ensure engagement of specialists across our full team.
• Represent Infrastructure Services within cross-functional programs, ensuring stakeholder alignment, timely communication, and successful delivery.

Strategy, Architecture & Roadmaps

• Contribute to enterprise infrastructure strategy and technology roadmaps in partnership with architects and technology leaders.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to improve reliability, automation, security, operational efficiency, and total cost of ownership.
• Collaborate with team to define future-state capabilities and translate them into actionable modernization plans.

Financial Management & Budgeting

• Develop infrastructure project budgets and cost estimates.
• Partner with Finance and Procurement on forecasting, budget planning, payments, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Explicitly inspect operating costs and partner with IT teams to continuously execute utilization optimizations and cost reductions while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

QualificationsExperience

• 8+ years of progressive infrastructure experience, including 3+ years leading technical teams.
• Experience leading hybrid infrastructure environments spanning public cloud and on-premises platforms.
• Experience managing enterprise database environments and supporting large-scale business application portfolios.

Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
