Job Description

Location Remote with requirement to travel for business needs

Role Purpose:

The Manager of Procurement - Indirect is responsible for the execution of the procurement processes throughout Hain North America. This role is expected to support the procurement lifecycle of assigned categories of indirect procurement including request for proposal/quote, market analysis and monitoring, selection determination and negotiation, vendor on-boarding, vendor performance management including spend, terms compliance, and process and policy compliance.

The incumbent also provides secondary support to Contract to Purchase Order processes and other operational activities within Coupa.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Category & Sourcing Management

  • Owns and manages assigned indirect spend categories, developing and executing category strategies aligned to business and financial goals.
  • Develops and maintains annual sourcing plans, including contract renewal calendars, competitive bidding strategies, supplier performance reviews, market intelligence, and risk assessments.
  • Leads full lifecycle sourcing activities (RFP/RFQ/RFI), including supplier evaluation, selection, negotiation, and contracting to achieve optimal total cost of ownership (TCO).

Cost Savings & Value Creation

  • Owns and delivers annual cost savings and value targets through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, demand management, and spend controls.
  • Tracks, validates, and reports savings and value creation in partnership with Finance.

Supplier & Stakeholder Management

  • Builds and maintains strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners to ensure alignment between functional strategies and sourcing strategies.
  • Manages supplier onboarding, performance management, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serves as a key escalation point for supplier performance, contract compliance, and dispute resolution.

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Ensures compliance with SOX, purchasing policies, contract terms, and internal controls across all procurement activities.
  • Supports risk management initiatives related to supply continuity, financial exposure, ESG, and regulatory compliance.

Systems & Process Excellence

  • Acts as a subject matter expert and secondary support for Coupa Contract-to-PO processes, ensuring adoption, data integrity, and process efficiency.
  • Coordinates and manages third-party procurement-related services and tools as needed.
  • Continuously improves procurement processes, templates, and governance to support scalability and efficiency.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
