Program Overview
As a Manager in Training, you’ll immerse yourself in a structured, hands-on development program, learning directly from seasoned professionals. You’ll gain the skills to lead with confidence, uphold our core values, and deliver an industry-leading customer experience. This role is designed to prepare you for a future as a Brakes Plus Store Manager, equipping you with the tools to drive operational success and team performance.
Qualifications
Outstanding leadership and store management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Requires 2-4 years of experience in automotive service advising and/or 2 years of experience in automotive service management
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to mentor others in a manner that ensures efficiency
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to develop professional relationships with customers and team members
Proven track record of exceeding business objectives
Ability to work efficiently both individually and as part of a team

Key Responsibilities
Engage directly with customers to provide exceptional service, addressing sales, service needs, and customer opportunities.
Foster a motivated, high-energy team environment that reflects Brakes Plus’ commitment to excellence.
Supervise technicians, plan, and assign tasks, and ensure timely completion of assignments.
Learn to evaluate team performance and productivity, providing coaching and development to enhance skills.
Manage parts inventory, oversee purchasing, and maintain stock levels to support seamless operations.
Ensure store safety, proper equipment maintenance, and compliance with company standards.
Maintain a clean, professional store appearance that reflects our brand.
Conduct thorough inspections and adhere to Brakes Plus’ operational standards and procedures.
Complete the comprehensive Manager in Training Guide to build leadership expertise.
Competitive Compensation: Earn $65,000–$85,000 annually, paid weekly.
