This role is critical to driving lean transformation and operational excellence for ASM’s Complete Kit Management (CKM) programs globally. As a Manager II, you’ll lead and implement initiatives improving productivity, reducing costs, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Your work will directly support ASM’s mission to deliver cutting-edge semiconductor solutions through efficient and scalable CKM operations.

Job Scope:

  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement Lean and Six Sigma methodologies for global CKM programs operations to ensure program success.
  • Become familiar with ASM’s equipment, especially ones with CKM programs, and be technical point of contact capable of providing troubleshooting guidance, etc.
  • Optimize CKM value streams by eliminating waste while helping to successfully sustain global CKM programs.
  • Lead Turn-around time (cycle time) and quality improvements at global suppliers.
  • Facilitate and efficiently implement CIPs (Continuous Improvement Programs) for CKM products.
  • Use performance and KPI dashboards to track progress of improvement initiatives.
  • Apply strong technical, analytical, and scientific problem-solving methods.
  • Demonstrate deep understanding of end-to-end manufacturing to improve operational gaps ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Apply knowledge of Kanban and material replenishment systems.
  • Assist with managing global customers, escalations, tool downs, and suppliers.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably industrial, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Process, Industrial Engineering, or Production Management.
  • Proven track record in improving operations and product management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and motivational abilities.
  • Practitioner of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts.
  • Experience leading cross-functional and cross-regional teams.
  • Familiarity with Kanban and other material replenishment systems.
  • Strong understanding of assembly and production methods.
