About the business/role/team

The RBA's Procurement team is undergoing a capability uplift by introducing technology, streamlining our processes and lifting our customer experience, all while keeping an eye to supplier risk management. The team sits within the Finance Department and has a mix of management, category leads and operations staff to facilitate Bank purchasing. The role looks after the IT category and its primary customer is the IT department.

About the role

  • Responsible for driving Procurement for the IT category
  • Manage a team of Category Leads and associated workload
  • Govern enterprise supplier, risk and contract management for category
  • Drive customer satisfaction


About you

  • Strong background in IT Procurement and contract negotiation
  • Advanced understanding of Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs)
  • Proven leadership skills
