The HR Operations Manager plays a key leadership role in driving and executing cross-functional human resources initiatives that support organizational goals. This position is responsible for overseeing programs such as onboarding, team member engagement, and company-wide events, ensuring they are strategically aligned, effectively implemented, and delivered on time and within budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Project Management

  • Lead and manage the planning, execution, and delivery of strategic HR projects, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and HR strategy.
  • Define project scopes, goals, and deliverables, working closely with CHRO, senior HR leadership, and other key stakeholders.
  • Establish detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and budgets; track project progress and adjust plans as needed to ensure successful and timely delivery.
  • Effectively lead and manage resources, including assigned HR team members, cross-functional teams, and external vendors, to ensure project success.
  • Regularly report project status, key milestones, risks, and recommendations to the CHRO and HR leadership team.
  • Prepare and present executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations, ensuring clear and concise communication of progress and outcomes.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, issues, and obstacles, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to project timelines.
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of completed projects and initiatives, identifying areas for continuous improvement and efficiency gains.

Team Member Onboarding

  • Develop and implement a scalable, standardized onboarding model that improves the new hire experience and supports long-term engagement.
  • Collaborate with HR leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment between onboarding, employee engagement, and broader talent development goals.
  • Evaluate existing onboarding practices across divisions and regions to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and lead interactive training sessions, workshops, and create resource materials to support the successful adoption of onboarding practices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to align orientation programs with organizational goals and new hire needs.
  • Promote a consistent and engaging new hire experience by integrating feedback, best practices, and continuous improvement strategies.
  • Assist with developing policies, tools, and evaluation metrics to monitor success and continuous improvement.

Team Member Engagement

  • Plan and Coordinate Engagement Events: Organize team-building activities, recognition events, wellness programs, and holiday celebrations. Manage logistics, communications, and feedback collection for each event.
  • Develop and Implement Engagement Strategies: Collaborate with leadership to align engagement initiatives with company culture and values. Support programs that enhance employee morale, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Promote Recognition and Appreciation: Manage employee recognition programs (e.g., Heroes Program, service awards).
  • Serve as a liaison between HR and other departments to ensure alignment and communication across initiatives.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in onboarding, HR process improvement, and workforce strategy.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum three (3) years’ experience working in an hr healthcare administrative role with complex problem solving.
  • Bachelor’s Degree’s degree in a related field required.
  • Experience in statistical and trend analysis
  • Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
  • Working knowledge of Workday a plus.

Oncology research is the largest area of new drug development. Self -administered medications, those taken by mouth or injected by the patient, comprise approximately 40% of these investigative medications. Tennessee Oncology’s in house pharmacy, Park Pharmacy, stocks oncology and hematology medications not readily available at community retail pharmacies. A URAC accredited Specialty Pharmacy, Park provides insurance and benefits investigation, prior authorization services for insurance coverage, co-pay assistance through manufacturer or foundation programs, extensive medication education, and access to a pharmacist 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
