Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Manager, Housing & Impact, you will provide leadership and oversight to a team responsible for delivering sustainable tenancy outcomes while ensuring compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements.

You will drive continuous improvement, foster a positive team culture and build strong relationships with customers, internal stakeholders and community partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead, coach and develop high-performing Housing & Impact team
  • Drive best-practice tenancy and property management outcomes
  • Manage complex customer matters and stakeholder relationships
  • Implement strategic initiatives and service improvements
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, legislative and regulatory requirements
  • Analyse data and reporting to support informed decision making
  • Support the delivery of social impact programs and community outcomes

REQUIREMENTS

  • Current NSW Police Check
  • Working With Children Check
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Current NSW Driver Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within social housing or community services
  • Experience interpreting and applying tenancy legislation, including RTA and NRAS
  • Advanced computer skills

DESIRABLE

  • Knowledge of housing management, rent arrears management and anti-social behaviour practices
  • Certificate IV in Welfare or Certificate IV in Social Housing (or equivalent)
