  • Parramatta Location – 4 Parramatta Square
  • Clerk Grade 11/12 salary ranges from $149,739 to $173,174 + super

The role

Acting as a central point of contact, you will help to streamline pathways to housing delivery by connecting the dots across teams, agencies and information. Day to day, you’ll build strong stakeholder relationships, troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly, provide clear advice, and keep everything coordinated through accurate records, reporting and continuous improvement of systems and processes.

Being a complex and fast-moving role, you’ll need to quickly build networks, digest technical information and translate it into everyday concise language, while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Success will come from working collaboratively to unblock challenges, balancing competing priorities, and ensuring stakeholders have a clear, efficient experience as they move through the planning system.

What you will bring to the role

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
  • Strong problem-solving and analytic abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations
  • Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Solid time management, delegation and organisational skills to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines efficiently
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, fostering strong relationships and ensuring alignment with diverse stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
  • Confident, knowledgeable and practical when making decisions
  • Experience in large scale government projects (desirable)

What is an essential requirement:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in planning, property, project management or similar discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
