Manager Health & Safety, Enviromental and Energy Retail LAM

Role Purpose

Lead and execute the Health & Safety strategy for adidas Retail Operations across Latin America (LAM), ensuring compliance with corporate standards and local regulations across multiple countries. The role drives process standardization, risk management and continuous improvement, contributing to operational excellence and the protection of employees, customers and brand value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Health & Safety strategy for Retail across LAM.
  • Develop and implement regional H&S programs, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure legal and corporate compliance across Mexico, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Panama, Brazil and Argentina in retail.
  • Standardize H&S practices across retail operations in the region.
  • Manage risk through assessments, inspections and incident investigations.
  • Monitor and report H&S KPIs at regional and country level.
  • Drive a strong safety culture through communication and training initiatives.
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure effective execution of H&S initiatives.
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and response programs.
  • Ensure compliance of contractors and third parties.
  • Support audits and H&S management system initiatives (ISO alignment).
  • Ensure proper data, reporting and documentation management.

Professional Profile

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering or related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in Health & Safety roles
  • Strong understanding of legal compliance (including Mexican STPS regulations)
  • Experience in risk assessment, incident management and corrective actions
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken)
  • Practical knowledge of H&S management systems

Nice to Have

  • Retail experience (Strong plus)
  • Multi-country or multinational exposure
  • Experience in process standardization and continuous improvement
  • Regional project exposure
