Description JASARA PMC is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager for the HSE department. The role involves overseeing the development and implementation of HSE policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local and international regulations, and fostering a culture of safety across all organizational levels. The position offers opportunities to contribute to safety excellence and environmental stewardship on major construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead the HSE team in conducting risk assessments, audits, and inspections to identify hazards and implement mitigation strategies
- Provide strategic direction and management for HSE initiatives across all projects and departments
- Facilitate incident investigations, identify root causes, and ensure implementation of corrective actions
- Organize and deliver HSE training programs to enhance safety awareness among employees and subcontractors
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HSE regulations and emerging trends within the industry
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on HSE performance to senior management
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure HSE considerations are integrated into project planning and execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the construction sector
- Strong knowledge of local and international HSE regulations and standards
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful HSE programs
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities
- Certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO 14001) are highly desirable
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage
