Job Description:
Under the direction of the Division Administrator the Program Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day clinical and other non-clinical operations and coordinating the provision of early intervention services for the Northeastern Early Steps Program; Provides advisory direction and training to clinical/case-management staff including non-direct reports, and ensures the compliance with company’s policies, state and federal regulations and guidelines, contract requirements; Responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating early intervention services, programs and activities; Ensures accuracy in documentation maintained in billing records and client files for early intervention/case management providers.
Develops and recommends strategic and operational plans and operating policies in a cost-effective and customer-oriented manner. Implements endorsed actions and policies and monitors progress Responsible for ensuring efficient and cost-effective utilization of resources, space, materials and personnel. Oversees and/or directs employee management activities within the Early Steps program including interviewing, hiring, training, counseling, and disciplinary actions. Routinely conducts staff meetings to discuss operations, staff issues and customer satisfaction; reviews new policies and procedures and shares general information. Works closely with Administrator to facilitate program goals in an efficient and effective manner. Ensures compliance with organizational policies and procedures, state and federal regulatory requirements including IDEA, AHCA, and scope of practice requirements for individual providers; Provides training to internal and external staff and providers. Resolves administrative problems related to clinical case managers and patient complaints. Maintains excellent lines of communication between the staff and providers to ensure high employee morale and a professional atmosphere. Safeguards confidential information concerning both staff and patients. Proactively implements approved action plans to resolve problem areas, actively participates in goal setting for the practice and coordinates the efforts to meet the goals. Participates in meetings at the local and state level. Participates in various organizational and management meetings and committees.
Expected Salary:
$65,000 to $75,000 annually
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology, Education, Social Work, One year experience working with children 0 to age 3 and two years of experience in management or administration; or a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Psychology, Social Work and one year experience working with children 0 to age 3 and four years of appropriate experience in management or administration of an applicable educational or health care facility which includes working knowledge of billing and/or reimbursement, management of clinical and non-clinical staff, demonstrating management and leadership expertise. Demonstrated ability in application of organizational/communication skills required.
