DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a(n) Manager, HCCMexico,locatedin Mexico City, Mexico.

The Manager, HCCMexicoserves as the Healthcare Compliance Officer in Mexico, providingendtoendstrategic and operational healthcare compliance leadership for DePuy Synthes’ Orthopedics business. This role partners closely with countrybusinessleadership, Legal,businessand functional stakeholders, and regional and global Compliance teams to promote ethical business conduct, manage compliance risk, and ensure adherence to applicable healthcare laws, regulations, and company policies.

This position offers the opportunity to play a visible role in shaping compliantbusinesspractices in a dynamic and highly regulated market, while strengthening a strong culture of integrity and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Healthcare Compliance Officer for Mexico.

  • Lead the development and execution of healthcare compliance strategies aligned with global and regional priorities.

  • Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks related to commercial, promotional, professional education, and other business and operational activities.

  • Provide proactive, practical guidance to business leaders on healthcare compliance requirements and ethicaldecisionmaking

  • Partner withcrossfunctionalstakeholders to embed effective compliance controls into business processes andgotomarketmodels.

  • Oversee core compliance programs, including training, monitoring, risk assessments, and issue management activities across Mexico.

  • Partner with Legal and other functions to support investigations, audits, and interactions with regulators or health authorities.

  • Monitor regulatory developments and industry trends in Mexico toanticipateand address emerging compliance risks.

  • Prepare and present compliance risk assessments, insights, and recommendations to country, regional, and senior leadership.

  • Foster a strong culture of integrity, accountability, andspeakupacross the organization.

Qualifications

Education

  • Required:Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Compliance, Finance, Healthcare Administration, ora relatedfield.

  • Preferred:Advanced degree or professional certification in Compliance, Legal, Risk, or Ethics‑related disciplines.

Experience and Skills

Required:

  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in healthcare compliance, legal, risk management, audit, or related fields.

  • Working knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry codes applicable in Mexico.

  • Experience supporting commercial or country‑level compliance programs within a regulated industry.

  • Strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability toidentifyand escalate risks appropriately.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with commercial and cross‑functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a matrixed organization.

Preferred:

  • Experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, or the broader life sciences industry.

  • Prior experience supporting Mexico or LATAM compliance programs within a global organization.

  • Exposure tocompliance monitoring, investigations, remediation, or audits.

  • Experience working in highly matrixed or multicultural environments.

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.

Other

  • Language:Fluency in English and Spanish required

  • Travel:Up to 20–30%, primarily within Mexico, with some regional travel.

  • Certifications:Compliance, legal, or ethics certificationspreferred but notrequired
