As a Manager, Hazard Communication based in Morristown, NJ, you will play a key role in ensuring that Arxada’s global product portfolio meets the highest regulatory, safety, and compliance standards. You will guide a team of product safety professionals, shaping the quality and accuracy of Safety Data Sheets (SDS), product labels, and hazard classifications across multiple global jurisdictions. Essential Job Functions

  • Lead and supervise Hazard Communication staff, providing coaching, technical guidance, and oversight of SDSs, labels, and GHS classifications.
  • Create, review, approve, and maintain Safety Data Sheets and product labels, ensuring full compliance with global hazard communication regulations (e.g., GHS/CLP, OSHA HazCom, REACH, TSCA, FIFRA).
  • Partner closely with R&D, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams to advance new product initiatives and support ongoing business objectives.
  • Partner closely with the Digitalization team to ensure the EHS systems are operational and operate at peak efficiency with high data integrity.
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory inquiries by customers and government agencies, providing expert analysis, documentation, and regulatory defensibility.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to manage regulatory complexity, enhance data quality, and streamline hazard communication workflows.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences (required); Master’s degree in Chemistry or Toxicology (preferred).
  • Advanced knowledge of global hazard communication and chemical regulatory frameworks, with 5–10 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong technical writing and data interpretation skills, with the ability to synthesize large volumes of complex information.
  • High proficiency in SAP EHS and strong understanding of digitalization and automation opportunities to enhance regulatory systems.
  • Expertise in global regulatory requirements, including TSCA, REACH, Prop 65, and import/export regulations.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, influence cross‑functionally, and manage stakeholder expectations in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and negotiation skills.

The expected salary for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 annually but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law. The schedule is primarily remote, but you’ll be required to work in the office at least 1–2 days per week, with availability to collaborate across global time zones as needed.
