Job Description

Create your best future and join Westpac as a Manager, GTS Client Service

What’s the role?

You’ll be part of our Global Transaction Services (GTS) Client Engagement team, supporting a portfolio of institutional clients across their day‑to‑day banking needs. This is a full‑time role based in Brisbane, where you’ll be the go-to contact for clients, making sure their enquiries, requests and service needs are handled smoothly and accurately.

In this role, you’ll work closely with relationship managers, product teams and operations partners to deliver a seamless service experience. You’ll spend your time responding to client enquiries, coordinating with internal teams, managing documentation, and helping resolve more complex issues when they arise. You’ll also look for simpler and better ways of working, contributing to continuous improvement across the service model. Most importantly, you’ll build trusted relationships with clients by understanding how they use our products and helping them get the most value from their banking arrangements.

What do I need?

To set yourself up for success, you’ll bring strong service skills and a collaborative mindset. Ideally, you’ll have:

  • Experience supporting clients in a banking, financial services or complex service environment, preferably within corporate or institutional transaction banking.
  • Confidence managing a range of client enquiries, from straightforward requests through to more complex issues.
  • The ability to build strong working relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Good attention to detail when handling documentation, processes and risk requirements.
  • A proactive approach, with a mindset focused on improving service and finding better ways of working.

Why join us?

We’re obsessed with becoming our customers' #1 banking partner for life and we’re looking for people who are passionate about helping us achieve that goal. In return, we’re committed to making Westpac the best place to work in the country. Here are just a few of the ways we’re already doing that:

  • Special offers on banking products and discounts from top brands, including generous employee-only mortgage rates!
  • Flexible work arrangements to help you achieve a greater work/life balance, and a variety of leave options including Culture, Lifestyle and Wellbeing leave.
  • Tailored learning and development opportunities to help your grow your career within the bank.
  • Lots of opportunities to ‘give back’ to the Community by getting involved in our many volunteering initiatives.
