Job Description

About Archer

A new regulatory change lands somewhere in the world every six minutes, and agentic AI is outpacing most teams’ ability to govern it. At Archer, we help the enterprises powering the global economy turn that pressure into an advantage.

Mandates like the EU AI Act and the SEC cybersecurity disclosure rules are driving the most significant GRC buying cycle we have seen in years. That demand is why we are growing this team.

This is hard work that matters. Our customers span energy, utilities, financial services, pharmaceuticals, and the public institutions communities depend on. People choose Archer because they get to partner with the most trusted brands in the world, on work that protects the customers and communities those brands serve.

If that sounds like your kind of work, let’s chat.

The Role

Every forecast Archer’s leadership reviews, every renewal that fires on time, and every lead that reaches the right rep depends on a layer of automation, integrations, and data pipelines underneath the go-to-market motion. This role owns that layer.

The market calls this GTM Engineering. You will write the automations and the scripts, design AI-enabled workflows for enrichment, scoring, and routing, and keep the data pipelines behind ARR, pipeline, and forecast reporting trustworthy enough that nobody argues about the numbers in a board deck.

Business Enablement owns core CRM and systems architecture — the platform. You set the priority order for the revenue-critical work inside it, and you own the GTM tooling and vendor relationships in your domain outright, including which tools we buy and which we retire. You are the person who decides whether a problem gets solved in the platform or built directly, and you are accountable for the answer either way.

You will report into Revenue Operations leadership and partner daily with Business Enablement, Sales, CS, Marketing, and Finance. There is no existing playbook here — coming out of our HubSpot and DealHub migration, the standards, the architecture decisions, and the automation layer are yours to establish. If the function grows, there is a path to building a small team around it.

What You'll Do

Set the revenue systems agenda

  • Set the priority order for revenue-critical systems work on the Business Enablement roadmap, and share those calls to Sales, CS, and Marketing leadership
  • Translate ambiguous commercial problems into technical requirements precise enough to build against
  • Decide what gets solved on the platform and what you build directly, and own the trade-off between speed and long-term architecture

Build the automation layer

  • Build the automated workflows behind lead routing, pipeline management, renewal triggers, and lifecycle tracking
  • Design and ship AI-enabled processes — enrichment, scoring, and prompt-driven workflows — and hold them to a measurable accuracy bar

Own the revenue data foundation

  • Own the integrity of the data calculations behind ARR, MRR, pipeline, and forecast reporting — the numbers leadership and the board work from
  • Partner with Insights and Field Operations to enable them to have the tools and data to build what senior leadership, reps, and the business needs.
  • Set the definitions and quality standards that make those numbers defensible, and hold the stack to them

Own the GTM tool portfolio

  • Own tool selection for GTM systems in your domain — evaluate, choose, consolidate, and retire
  • Own the vendor relationships: performance, roadmap influence, renewals, and the case for or against each renewal
  • Keep the stack deliberate rather than accumulated, and make the call when a tool is no longer earning its place

Make it durable

  • Own the change management and data governance standard for revenue systems, and hold changes to it — including your own
  • Document architecture, workflows, and automations so the knowledge outlives any one person
  • Own how GTM teams adopt what you build, partnering with enablement so tools land as capability rather than announcements

You'll Thrive Here If You Have

  • Deep hands-on experience with CRM platforms — HubSpot and/or Salesforce — including where they break under real GTM load
  • A track record of building integrations and automations across a GTM tech stack, not only administering one
  • Working proficiency in a scripting language (Python, JavaScript, or similar) and the judgment to know when code is the right answer
  • Experience applying AI-powered workflow tools to real GTM problems, with a clear view of where they hold up and where they do not
  • Demonstrated ability to set technical direction for teams you do not manage, and to hold a priority call under pressure from revenue-carrying stakeholders
  • Ownership of revenue-reporting data quality — you have been the person accountable when the number was wrong

Even Better If You Have

  • Come through a CRM migration or comparable systems transformation, ideally HubSpot and CPQ (DealHub or similar)
  • Been the first or only systems hire somewhere, and built the standards rather than inheriting them
  • Worked in a data warehouse and transformation layer (dbt, BigQuery, Snowflake, or similar)
  • Owned tool selection or vendor negotiation for a GTM stack
