THE ROLE
We are seeking a Group Sales Manager to join our team.
This role is an integral part of delivering a high-touch, luxury guest experience, ensuring that every interaction reflects our commitment to excellence, precision, and personality.
The Group Sales Manageris responsible foreffectivelyestablishingand managing client relationships and accounts for their respective marketsegment.achieving both team and individual revenue goals through managing existing client relations, solicitation of new accounts, and consistent networking efforts. This person must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures thelong termengagement of employees, guests, and owners.
WHAT YOU WILL ROCK
In this role, you will Solicit new and existing accounts to meet/exceed revenue goals through telephone/email prospecting, sales calls, site inspections, and written communication. You will follow up promptly on leads generated by the Global Sales offices, Cvent, Destination Marketing Organizations, and any other lead generating source.
You Assistin the development and implementation of quarterly Sales Action Plans.
With a strong attention to detail, coordinate with different departments any specific event requirements including individual room reservations, special menus to accommodate dietary preferences, and event set-up requests. Attend BEO and Resume meetings. Invite clients to the hotel for entertainment, lunches, tours, and site inspections.
Coordinate andparticipatein blitzes, expositions, fairs,familiarizationtrips, site inspections, and other relevant activities,exhibitingkey features and benefits of the property. UseDelphi.fdcor any other applicable computerized sales management system to manage the hotel’s business, including (but not limited to) generating reports, entering business, blocking space, and building accounts. Monitor actual sales, revenues, and expenses todeterminevariance and assess goal accomplishments, and adjust strategies and forecasts accordingly.
Ensure an extraordinary experience and create loyalty to the property and Hard Rock brand by exceeding expectations through exceptional service and product quality.
All responsibilities are executed with a focus on consistency, attention to detail, and elevated service standards.
WHAT YOU BRING, THE HARD ROCK STANDARD
3–5 years’ experience in hospitality management, in a sales role, preferably as a manager in a lifestyle property.
Experience with the group sales segment.
You anticipate guest needs and act with intention
Ability tocomprehendand use technical or professional language, either written or spoken, to communicate complex ideas.
Strong communicationand listening skills and excellent speaking, reading, and writing ability.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the organization.
