Key Responsibilities -

Government & Regulatory Relations

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with local and national government agencies.
• Act asthe primary liaison with LGUs, government departments, regulatory bodies, and public-sectorstakeholders.
• Support project teams in obtaining permits, licenses, approvals, and clearances required for project execution.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise project leadership on potential impacts to project schedules and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate responses to government inquiries and facilitate project-related meetings with officials.

Community & Stakeholder Management

• Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategies for project sites.
• Build constructive relationships with local communities, barangay officials, business groups, educational institutions, and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate public consultations and community engagement initiatives required for environmental and planning approvals.
• Manage stakeholder concerns and ensure timely resolution of issues that may impact project delivery.
• Promote understanding of data center operations and their economic benefits within host communities.

Political & Social Risk Management

• Monitor political, social, and community developments that may affect project execution.
• Identify stakeholder-related risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide regular intelligence and updates regarding local political developments, elections, community sentiment, and emerging issues.
• Support crisis management and stakeholder response planning when required.

Corporate Representation

• Represent DAMAC Digital at government meetings, industry forums, community events, and stakeholder engagements.
• Coordinate site visits for government officials, investors, customers, and community representatives.
• Ensure all external communications are aligned with corporate objectives and approved messaging.

Internal Coordination

• Work closely with Project, Legal, Corporate Affairs, Operations, and Communications teams.
• Maintain stakeholder engagement records, action trackers, and reporting dashboards.
• Provide regular stakeholder reports to project leadership highlighting opportunities, risks, and recommended actions.
• Support project teams in developing presentations, briefing materials, and meeting documentation.

Qualifications and Experience -

• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Political Science, Communications, Business Administration, Law, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in government relations, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, corporate affairs, infrastructure, energy, real estate, telecommunications, or data center projects.
• Strong network across Philippine government agencies and local government units.
• Demonstrated experience supporting major infrastructure or industrial developments.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong understanding of Philippine permitting, regulatory, and local government processes.
• Fluent in English and Filipino.

Preferred

• Experience working on data center, telecom, power, industrial, or large-scale real estate developments.
• Experience engaging with BOI, DENR, LGUs, PEZA, DOE, ERC, or similar agencies.
• Knowledge of environmental permitting and public consultation requirements.
• Experience managing complex multi-stakeholder projects.
