Develops, coordinates, and implements communication, engagement, and stakeholder outreach strategies that support Prisma Health’s government affairs priorities and objectives. Serves as a key liaison between Government Affairs, internal stakeholders, community partners, and elected officials to advance organizational awareness, advocacy initiatives, and strategic engagement efforts.
Essential Functions

Develops and manages communication plans, messaging, and informational materials related to Government Affairs priorities, legislative activities, public policy initiatives, and advocacy efforts.
Produces, coordinates, and distributes Government Affairs communication products, including newsletters, legislative updates, briefing materials, presentations, talking points, reports, and stakeholder communications.
Assists in the development and implementation of engagement and communication strategies for Government Affairs initiatives and activities. Responsibilities are limited to Government Affairs-supported programs, priorities, and stakeholder groups.
Collaborates with Government Affairs leadership to identify opportunities to educate and engage Prisma Health leaders, physicians, team members, and other key stakeholders regarding legislative, regulatory, and public policy matters. Responsibilities are limited to Government Affairs-supported activities and do not include enterprise-wide team member engagement programs.
Serves as liaison with internal departments, community organizations, and external stakeholders to support Government Affairs initiatives and strategic partnerships.
Coordinates and manages logistics for internal and external meetings, events, forums, legislative visits, and community engagement activities sponsored by Government Affairs.
Serves as the primary liaison with the Community Engagement Office for Prisma Health events involving state, local, and federal elected officials.
Develops briefing materials, event agendas, background information, and executive talking points for Government Affairs leadership and organizational executives.
Provides approved content regarding Government Affairs priorities, legislative activities, and advocacy initiatives to appropriate third-party organizations, community partners, and external stakeholders.
Monitors legislative, regulatory, and public policy developments and assist in communicating relevant information to internal stakeholders.
Maintains stakeholder databases, event records, communication calendars, and reporting metrics to support Government Affairs operations and strategic objectives.
Collaborates with organizational leaders and subject matter experts to ensure communications accurately reflect Prisma Health’s positions, priorities, and advocacy efforts.
Supports public affairs, community relations, advocacy, and issue management activities as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, presentation development, and database management tools.
