The opportunity

The Manager, Global Leadership Development is responsible for the design, implementation, management and continuous evolution of Gildan’s global leadership development strategy and portfolio.

The role

  • Design, launch, manage, and continuously improve global leadership development programs and learning journeys across multiple leadership levels.
  • Continuously assess leadership development trends, best practices and emerging approaches to enhance Gildan’s leadership development portfolio.
  • Support the development and execution of Gildan's global leadership development strategy.
  • Ensure that leadership programs are aligned with Gildan’s leadership capabilities, values and talent strategy.
  • Lead enterprise coaching and mentoring initiatives and partner with HR and business leaders to identify effective leadership development solutions.
  • Facilitate leadership programs, workshops, and development experiences in virtual and in-person environments.
  • Partner with Talent Management, Succession Planning, and business leaders to strengthen leadership pipelines and succession readiness.

The requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Education or a related field.
  • At least 7 years' experience in a in a Leadership Development, Organizational Development, Talent Management or Learning and Development role.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development programs for diverse leadership populations.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, leadership competency models, coaching, mentoring, and talent development practices.
  • Experience facilitating engaging virtual and in-person leadership development programs.
  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management capabilities.Highly collaborative with the ability to work across cultures and global teams.Results-oriented with a passion for developing leaders and driving organizational growth.
