About the Role
Reporting to the Director, Global FP&A, this is a 6 month contract role that will support the consolidation, analysis & communication of Element’s Global operating & capital expenses to senior executive stakeholders. Working with a highly collaborative approach, the Manager Global FP&A will also support and manage the annual budget setting process for Element Global business. This role creates output that helps Senior management steer the organization.
What You’ll Do
Responsible for analysis that is highly critical for decision making.
Set up and management of the global financial operating and capital expense processes
Reporting and analysis of consolidated global information, as well as monthly reporting to Corporate Executive Vice Presidents on their respective areas of accountability
Preparation of monthly forecasts of Opex & Capex
Analyzing monthly variances vs. forecast & budget, and reviewing with accountable senior stakeholders
Support the Monthly Operating Review presentation to communicate analysis of Opex & Capex historical performance & future forecast to senior managementLong range financial modelling of Opex & capex
Able to clearly communicate deliverable & deadlines to all stakeholders & drive execution through influence rather than direct authority
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting; CPA / MBA designation.
Minimum 7 years of Finance experience in an analytical role.
Strong and demonstrated expense management skills / business partnering.
Experience with establishing processes and process improvement; brings a continuous process improvement mindset
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills and ability to work cross functionally both internally and externally.
Self-starter who can independently problem solve and propose solutions / action plans
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced excel knowledge; experience with Macros / VBA a strong plus
Familiarity with planning software a strong plus.
The candidate should embrace this and lead this buildout when it comes to Opex / Capex.

Current Location: Toronto. Our Mississauga office will move to 1 Adelaide in Toronto in September 2026
Note: This is a 6 month contract role.
The hiring base salary range for this position is $99,200 to $136,400 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
