UChicago Global advances the University of Chicago’s scholarly research, educational initiatives, and partnerships around the world. Part of the Office of the President, UChicago Global provides an integrated, enterprise-level view of the University’s international activities across academic units and regions. We develop strategic partnerships, provide seed funding for collaborative research, ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements, and help build a broad understanding of UChicago as a leading global university. With staff based in Chicago, Hong Kong, Beijing, and Delhi, UChicago Global applies deep expertise in the international landscape to support the University’s engagement around the world.The Global Communications, Senior Analyst supports the planning, creation, and editing of content that advances UChicago's international engagement and elevates the visibility of UChicago's academic programs and research outside the United States. In coordination with the Director of Global Communications and the Global programming team, this role provides writing, editing, graphic, and production support for UChicago Global's internal and external communications. This role also advises UChicago's Global Centers on communications and helps ensure communications materials are consistent with UChicago Global's goals and aligned with the University's broader communications strategy and standards.
This position plans, prepares and disseminates information designed to keep the public informed of the University's perspectives, programs, and accomplishments. Work is performed with a moderate level of guidance, and typically includes marketing, press relations, creative editorial and design services, and internal communications.
