Job Description

The Fulfilment Manager is responsible for parts inventory and service levels, this would include all the below duties and responsibilities but not limited to only the below duties and responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the Inventory Planning (Service Levels) for ZAPC
    • Validation of Monthly Planning for ZAPC
    • Ensuring that the demand is fulfilled through efficient supply of parts
    • Optimisation of regional parts supply
  • Oversite of PLATO replenishment of Dealer Network
  • Reporting on Dealer Inventory Levels
  • Responsible for Import/Export Compliance (Including Filing and archiving of files)
  • Responsible for tracking and validation of Inbound Costs (Landing Factors)
  • Manage the Inbound shipping claims with SPC
  • Expediting of parts on back order with SPC
  • Manage buybacks and core returns (Reverse Logistics to SPC)
  • Ensure that below KPIs are achieved
    • Service Level
    • ITR (Inventory Turn Ratios)
    • Landing Factor
    • Air Share (Air Freight as a % of Total Freight)
    • BO Aging
    • Optimum stock holding at ZAPC (monitor dead stock, scrapping risk, obsolescence risk)
  • Work in collaboration with other Departments and Business Units to achieve common business objectives, ensuring that there is open and effective communication, this includes SPC, and also to ensure that there is a coordinated approach to product development and improvement of performance, productivity and efficiencies.
  • Ensure that the appropriate resources and structure is in place to provide proactive support to the retail network and customers, strengthening the relationships with the Services area.

Candidate Requirements:

Education and/or Experience

  • University education in a relevant discipline (preferred) – Supply Chain Management, Logistics Management, or Operations Management / CPIM (Certified Profession in Inventory Management)
  • Relevant business knowledge and experience in a similar role
  • Managerial experience preferably in the heavy commercial vehicle or a related industry
  • Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Minimum of 5 years working experience in the same or similar role
