Job Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesJob Purpose: The FSET Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Food Share Employment and Training (FSET) program. This role provides direct support and supervision to the team and assures the agency remains compliant with operational standards and service delivery best practices required by contract. The manager represents CFI at all Maximus trainings and supervisory meetings.

- Ensures contractual obligations are met by identifying, recommending, and/or developing quality improvement strategies through the evaluation of staff and project performance measures.
- Responsible for establishing a safe and positive work culture and generating enthusiasm for program goals and agency mission.
- Leads, guides, and trains staff according to FSET standards of operations and CFI work rules.
- Prepares training sessions for FSET staff to increase skills and elevate performance to meet the outlined performance metrics of the contract.
- Serves as point person for any escalated complaints or concerns brought forth by participants.
- Processes and tracks training referrals, vouchers and financial based resources for participants.
- Compiles, interprets, and summarizes data for review.
- Conducts quality assurance for completeness, accuracy, consistency and conformity.
- Ensures quality customer service for internal and external customers.
- Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Performs human resources responsibilities for employees which includes onboarding, training, coaching on performance, completes performance reviews and overall employee morale. Recommends hiring, terminations, compensation changes, promotions, corrective action decisions and terminations. Reviews and approves accurate report of time.
- Responsible for ensuring that personal actions, and actions of employees supervised, comply with the policies, regulations, and laws applicable to the program funders, contracts, and CFI business.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum

Required Education: A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree (Four years applicable experience may substitute for degree).
Minimum Required

Experience: Minimum of 2 years’ experience in FSET or W2 case management, including some experience leading and developing staff members performing jobs of varying responsibility or project management.

Physical Requirements, Visual Acuity, and Work Conditions:
Physical Requirements: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
Visual Acuity: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal.
Working Conditions: None: The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
