What’s the role?

This role sits within the Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) Financial Crime and Fraud team. You will be part of a dynamic, global team providing end-to-end oversight of financial crime risk across AML/CTF, sanctions, fraud and scams, and anti-bribery and corruption.

  • Experience supporting governance forums, including preparing risk papers, insights, and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong track record managing fraud and scam incidents, including root cause analysis, issue remediation, and breach handling.
  • Experience working on regulatory change initiatives and audit engagements within a financial crime or risk environment.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to build risk awareness and collaborate across business, operations, and risk teams.
