Carrier in Indianapolis has a role for a Finance Manager working for the North America Residential and Light Commercial (NA RLCS). You will provide broad Financial Planning and Analyst support across the organization while playing a key role in helping to forecast and plan for residential HVAC product lines. Must be interested in providing leadership to ongoing forecasting/ planning issues and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop monthly forecast and annual plan including ongoing business, sales and margin analysis
• Analyze data and trends to drive foresight and insight into product line financial results and assess risks / opportunities
• Evaluate monthly actual results for reasonableness & variance to prior forecast, plan, prior year
• Provide support to the business unit Chief Financial Officer (CFO) by leading monthly forecast presentations, annual business plans, regular FP&A analysis, and periodic reporting requests
• Support and improve FP&A processes, with attention to reporting accuracy and detail
• Prepare the quarterly review of finished goods inventory forecasting and excess & obsolescence assessments
• Work with key functional sales, marketing, and operations teams on price, cost and mix analysis

Required Qualifications:

• BA / BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance

Preferred Qualifications:

• MA/MS with 2+ years of experience (an advantage)
• Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite i.e. Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Analytical skill with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources
• Able to present financial information in a concise and effective manner in English (written and verbal)
• Work in cross-functional teams in a supportive and service-oriented fashion
• Self-motivated, detail oriented and works well within a collaborative team
• Manage competing and changing priorities with professionalism
• SAP, Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) and HFM Retrieve for Excel (a plus)
• Margin analysis experience
