A Manager within our Disputes, Claims, and Investigations group will work on consulting assignments across a variety of industries and receive meaningful client exposure. Assignments primarily consist of managing economic damages calculations and related financial analyses in litigation, fraud, and forensic matters, including intellectual property disputes and complex commercial litigation.
Impact You’ll Make
• Manage the day-to-day execution of engagements, coordinating workstreams and ensuring workplans are effectively executed.
• Perform and oversee economic damages analyses, financial modeling, and forensic investigations to deliver high-quality, defensible results.
• Organize and analyze case-related documentation, including reviewing financial records, testimony, and court filings to identify key issues and relevant data.
• Supervise and mentor Analysts and Associates, supporting skill development and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Collaborate with engagement leadership to manage timelines, identify risks, and contribute to high-quality deliverables.
• Support client relationships through proactive communication, responsiveness, and thoughtful insights.
• Execute tailored analytical approaches and deliverables for small to mid-sized engagements and defined segments of larger, complex matters.
What You’ll Do
• Support engagement leaders in developing engagement strategies, detailed workplans, and monitoring progress against milestones.
• Conduct company, industry, and case-specific research, including economic, accounting, and market analysis to support assumptions and conclusions.
• Perform and manage financial analyses and forecasting models using transactional, financial, and sales data.
• Build and refine financial models to trace transactions and conduct scenario and damages analyses.
• Draft and review sections of expert reports, presentations, and visual exhibits to ensure clarity and accuracy.
• Assist in preparing materials supporting expert testimony.
• Evaluate opposing expert reports and analyze competing damages methodologies.
• Analyze financial statements, accounting records, tax returns, and other financial documents across multiple engagements.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 4–7 years of relevant professional experience in accounting, finance, or economic disciplines. Preferred experience includes litigation consulting, forensic accounting, fraud investigation, professional/public accounting, and/or assurance/audit.
• CPA or other relevant professional designation preferred.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access).
• Strong financial modeling capabilities and experience working with large datasets.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., SQL, SAS, Stata, R); SQL preferred.
• Ability to perform complex analyses with increasing independence and sound professional judgment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly articulate analytical findings.
• Experience supporting DOJ matters and ability to obtain the appropriate level of clearance required is a plus.
