
General Summary of Position:
Reporting to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Financial Services, Controller, this position plays a key role in ensuring that procurement and contracting activities comply with university policy, state and federal regulations, and best business practices.
The Manager will collaborate closely with departments across the university and key partners—including the Unified Procurement Services Team (UPST), Office of General Counsel (OGC), University of Massachusetts Building Authority (UMBA), and the President’s Office (UMPO)—to promote effective, compliant, and efficient business processes. This position will also represent the university on committees and initiatives related to procurement, contracting, and business expenses.

This position is full-time, benefited and non-unit in grade P20 Anticipated salary based on experience and other qualifications within the range which has a minimum of $85,689 25th quartile of: $98,542 and midpoint of: $111,396.
