Job Description

About Nuventura

Nuventura is a Berlin-based climate tech company developing a new generation of medium-voltage switchgear that is both highly innovative and environmentally sustainable. With our patented gas-insulated technology, we replace SF₆ — one of the most harmful greenhouse gases — with clean, dry air, while maintaining the same reliability and performance as conventional systems.

Our mission is to accelerate the global transition toward sustainable electrical infrastructure. To achieve this, we work at the intersection of deep engineering expertise, industrial partnerships, and rapid product development. Our product portfolio is expanding quickly through new development projects and international scaling activities. As an interdisciplinary and engineering-driven company, we enable utilities and manufacturers worldwide to adopt SF₆-free technology and make power grids future-proof.

Why This Role Matters

As Manager (f/m/x) – Offers and Tendering, you will drive the global adoption of our SF₆-free switchgear solutions by creating technically precise and commercially competitive offers. Your work directly impacts our ability to scale sustainable electrical infrastructure worldwide, combining engineering excellence with market-driven strategies.

Your Mission

You will be responsible for developing technically accurate and commercially compelling offers for our medium-voltage switchgear, tailored to diverse global markets. Collaborating closely with the Sales team, you will address customer inquiries, participate in tenders, and represent Nuventura at international exhibitions.

Aufgaben

  • Review and analyze customer specifications and technical requirements.
  • Create technical offers based on customer inputs and single-line diagrams.
  • Develop commercial proposals using internal pricing tools and price sheets.
  • Coordinate with Area Managers (DACH) to clarify customer doubts and optimize offers.
  • Actively participate in public tenders, submitting all required documents and datasheets.
  • Represent Nuventura at global trade fairs and exhibitions

Qualifikation

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree is a plus).
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English (business proficiency).
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, Gstar, and ERP systems like SAP or Salesforce (advantageous).
  • Soft Skills: Fast learner, logical decision-making under pressure, and a strong ownership mindset
  • Experience in technical offers, tenders, or sales within the energy technology sector is a plus.

Benefits

  • You will be part of an innovative group of high-performance and experienced people from diverse backgrounds.
  • We are committed to your growth and will challenge you directly to become the best professional version of yourself.
  • We believe in a culture of trusted ownership, caring meritocracy, and constructive feedback where we elevate each other and challenge the status quo.
  • A sustainable, down-to-earth, and passionate company.
  • Free snacks, drinks, and fruit basket every day.
  • Exciting and regular team events, including a Christmas party, summer celebrations, and a budget for departmental events.

Nuventura

About Nuventura

Nuventura develops environmentally-friendly medium voltage (MV) gas insulated switchgear (GIS) – key hardware components found throughout electrical grids and energy infrastructure.

Our patented technology replaces Sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) – the world’s strongest greenhouse gas – with dry air, whilst maintaining GIS' traditional strengths i.e. compact physical dimensions. Such alternatives are urgently needed because, in the coming years, regulators are expected to phase out SF6’s use in switchgear due to its high environmental impact.

Nuventura works with both switchgear end-users (utilities, EPCs, industry, project developers etc.) and manufacturers (OEMs, panel builders) with the aim of accelerating and facilitating the energy industry’s transition away from SF6. In so doing, nuventura helps companies reduce their carbon footprint and become compliant with imminent international regulation focused on the use of SF6 in switchgear.
