The Fitness & Wellness Program Manager’s purpose is to manage all aspects of the corporate fitness and wellness offerings for OhioHealth Employer Solutions. This position is responsible for the recruitment, selection and development of supervisors and associates in a manner that will drive associate engagement and contributions toward the annual strategic goals of the department. Working in partnership with the reporting Director, this position will help with development of a three-year strategic growth plan, manage budgets effectively, work to improve efficiency for the business, and develop new innovative offerings.
Responsibilities And Duties:
40%: Leadership and Operations. Manage fitness and wellness operations for OhioHealth Employer Solutions. Support current processes, programs, and systems for continuous improvement and innovation opportunities. Engage in strategic planning and new solution and program development. Recruit, develop and lead associate teams, including conducting regular team meetings and performance reviews and developing associates for career advancement.
25%: Fiscal Responsibilities. Develop annual business plan and budget. Manage operational expenses. Manage FTE’s within budgetary guidelines. Monitor the financial performance to ensure budgetary goals are met and promptly address financial problems. Drive revenues, manage expenses, and achieve bottom-line performance numbers.
15%: Customer Service. Responsible for the delivery of OhioHealth service excellence standards being delivered daily with every customer interaction. Engage associates and customers with an enthusiastic and pleasant attitude and training associates on high quality customer service interactions.
10%: Sales and Marketing. Develop sales and marketing strategy, in conjunction with Director, Fitness & Wellness, the Business Development team and Marketing and Communication. Monitor competitor programs, services and sales activities.
10%: Regulatory Responsibilities. Ensure all Policies & Procedures are adhered to, required continuing education is completed, and required licenses/certifications are current and active.
