This is a senior,hands-onleadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of finance,systemsand people — and who enjoys turning complexity into clarity.

Please note, this position is Full Time Permanent. Flexibility is important to us, and we know it is to you, too - this role supports hybrid working by agreement.

Your part in our UnitingCare team:  

  • Lead and deliver UCQ’s strategic direction through the effective management of enterprise finance systems and ERP platforms

  • Strong SAP ECC6 configuration, integration and support experience across SD, MM,FICOand PS

  • Ensure strong governance,complianceand control across financial systems in line with legislation,standardsand UCQ Board requirements

  • Drive organisationwide integration and system synergies to improve service delivery,efficiencyand business performance

  • Provide expert systems accounting oversight supporting statutory reporting, financialaccountsand balance sheet integrity

  • Safeguard financial data quality through robust controls, exception reporting,auditsand data governance leadership

  • Oversee ERP, BI and CPM platforms including hosting, upgrades,enhancementsand consolidation initiatives

  • Lead continuous improvement through business case development, processoptimisationand delivery of the finance systems roadmap

  • Foster avaluesdriven, safe and inclusive environment that attracts,engagesand develops a highperforming team


What makes a difference for us?

  • Confidence to satisfy the relevant probity checks required by legislation or policies. This mayincludea Nationally Coordinated Police Check,Right to Work in Australia,Insolvency Check 

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting,businessor information technology, with CA,CPAor equivalent professional accreditation

  • Minimum five years’ experience in a senior finance systems or systems accounting leadership role

  • Deep systems accountingexpertisesupported by strong finance,complianceand statutory reporting knowledge

  • Advanced technology capability including expertlevel Excel and extensive experience using BI and CPM tools

  • Proven ability to lead complex ERP initiatives, manage competing priorities and deliver practical outcomes

  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical and financial concepts for nontechnical audiences

  • Experience within shared services, large complexorganisationsor transformation environments (desirable)

  • Exposure tonot-for-profit, health or community services sectors and their operating environments (desirable)
